Thanks for your interest in the Looking Glass Rock Writers' Conference, which will be held May 14-17, 2020, at Brevard College and the Transylvania County Library. Workshops will be lead by Crystal Wilkinson (fiction), Alison Hawthorne Deming (nonfiction), and Aimee Nezhukumatathil (poetry).

Submissions open October 1, 2019, and close December 31, 2019. Accepted participants will be notified by February 1, 2020. 

Acceptance to conference workshops in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry is based on manuscript evaluation. Merit-based and need-based full scholarships are available from the Transylvania County Library Foundation. 

Workshops are limited to 12 participants. You may apply to two workshops but will be selected for only one. Send us your best published or unpublished work to apply. 

If you are accepted, you will be allowed to submit a new manuscript for workshop.
